If you are new to the world of Forex trading then the first thing you are going to need to research is a how to trade as you want to make sure that you are using your account to its fullest potential.
Luckily, you can use the guide found at CitiFX Pro to help manage accounts that range in depth from $10,000 to $50,000 making it a practical choice for any trader. Also helpful is the fact that Citi allows trading in a number of currencies so that you can easily use your own currency to trade and let them do the math for you when it comes down to currency conversion.
With so many countries to trade with it is no wonder that Forex trading is becoming so popular, and if you play your cards properly you can end up with an investment that immediately starts to pay off. Of course, in order to make sure that your investment is going to come around twofold you need to play it smart and do your research by reading a thorough Forex Account Guide.
At Citi you will find one of the most professional guides out there on the web making it worth your time to read through the material that is available. Some useful tips to be aware of is that many Forex accounts that are reputable can only be funded via a direct bank wire. Therefore, it will take three to five business days for the transaction to be completed, however, by choosing a fund that allows you this option you can make sure that your entire transaction is secure.
Once funds are deposited with a top trading agent such as CitiFX Pro they can be withdrawn at any time, but if you are doing well in the exchange it may be to your best advantage to reinvest them. Optimally as soon as you enter the Forex market you will start seeing positive dividends if you have done your research and are investing wisely.
Of course, even if it takes a few months to start to notice the dividend increase you should stick with Forex trading because like any type of investment sometimes it takes some time for the results to show. When you know that your financial future is secure by trading with a company that you can trust it is worth it to wait for the profits to start to roll in.

Meditation is something that can be a very valuable practice for many people and it is known to help in three key ways. These ways include helping people physically, spiritually, and mentally. The benefits of meditation can usually be felt in a person after just a few days of practise.
Meditation is a practice that allows people to bring a certain amount of peace to their minds. Without meditation most people find that the mind is cluttered with thoughts and chatter that cause them worry and concern. By practising meditation it is possible to bring peace to the busy mind and a mind at piece is one that is happy.
There is a common misconception about meditation that it is a process that involves thinking about nothing. This is not the case and meditation is more about being aware of what you are actually feeling and experiencing and reaching a clarity about this.
There are many ways to go about meditating and people use different items to help them get into the meditative state. Guided audio meditation is very popular and is particularly useful for beginners who are just starting out meditation. Other people prefer to light a candle and focus on the flame in order to quiet the mind. Gentle music is also something people listen to when trying to meditate.
The misconception that meditation should allow you to stop thinking about everything instantly means that many people feel they are failing when they don’t achieve this. It is not possible for someone to immediately go to a meditative state where they are incapable of thinking about anything, it is a process that takes time. At first it is all right to have certain thoughts still running through your mind.
The main idea behind meditation is to slow your thought process, not stop it altogether. A good way to start doing this is to focus on something that doesn’t require much brainpower. When you’re meditating focus on the air entering your lungs from the outside atmosphere and just feel this process occurring.
Pay attention to how every part of your body feels when you breathe and make sure you don’t change anything. Focus on all the sensations you are experiencing, such as the air rushing through your nose and inflating your lungs.
Even doing this as a first, and very basic, meditation exercise will remove many of your thoughts. This is a very good start, and you will have gone from thinking about many things, to thinking about very few, which is exactly the purpose of meditation. The more you practice meditation the more thoughts you are going to be able to remove from your mind and eventually you will have very few when you’re meditating.
Not thinking about much has beneficial physical effects for your body as it allows your muscles to completely relax and your blood pressure to lower. This process will allow you to feel less stress and anxiety and your body will quickly realise the benefits of having a break from thinking at a million miles an hour.
Meditation is also a good time for spiritual people to feel the connection they have with higher power. Your mind being empty allows you to get a better understanding of the spiritual universe and can be very beneficial for your spiritual beliefs.
Meditation is a very individual process and it is important that you understand different people have different preferences about the process. Some people prefer to meditate after work, while others prefer it first thing in the morning. Meditation is a very beneficial process and something that everyone should learn to embrace.

As people get older, their ability to remember certain things begins to deteriorate. Fortunately however, as we get older, there are certain activities we can do which will improve our memory and prevent it from fading so quickly.
There are many different games that people enjoy that are capable of improving their memory. Some of the most popular options include doing the crossword, playing Scrabble and filling out a Sudoku. These types of game are generally good at improving your cognitive function, but in terms of improving memory, while effective, the effect is quite limited.
There are some specifically designed programmes to improve your memory and they would be a valuable investment for people who want to improve their memory in the long-term. This is not just something that should be used by people who are old, and there are exercises targeted at brains for people of all ages.
Many people might assume that these games are rather boring, but there is such a huge selection available that you are sure to find something you like. Many of these games can be downloaded from the internet for a small cost and can be fun and educational at the same time. The fact that the games are both enjoyable and useful to your mental health, is a good reason to use starting to use them today.
There are also different types of brain games for people of different mental abilities. For example, for people who are suffering from a mental condition, there are games targeted towards them. There are also games targeted towards people with healthy brains, and these are just used to improve them beyond the norm.
Brain fitness programmes can have both long and short term benefits and can improve your ability to do basic things such as calculating in your mind and learning languages. In many cases these mental training programs can also lead to you having a boost in self-confidence.
You should choose a programme carefully so that it matches the goals you want to achieve. Once you have done this, you can be sure that you are going to have an enjoyable experience while you improve your mental fitness.

There is an old adage that says “laughter is the best medicine” and scientists are finding out just how true that really is. A number of studies on the subject of laughter as related to mental and physical health have demonstrated that a good laugh is good for you in lots of ways.
It may sound unlikely, but it appears that laughter can improve your memory. That’s because it stimulates many portions of your brain, including the cerebral cortex where cognitive thought is centred. That means it helps you to think more clearly and retain more of what you learn.
Laughter also stimulates the frontal lobe, where emotional response is generated, and various other areas of the brain. Researchers who hooked participants up to an electroencephalograph found that humorous input traveled on a circuit that runs through many more regions of the brain than, say, a nasty emotional shock.
One corollary to this research involves social interaction; people who are withdrawn or anti-social to one degree or another are less likely to laugh. Shared laughter is even more powerful than private amusement, and it tends to make a bond between people who might otherwise never be connected.
The capacity to laugh freely with enjoyment can also be enhanced by relaxation of the body and mind. One of the proven methods of relaxing is meditation; it can reduce anxiety and depression, high blood pressure and other mental and physical stress. People suffering from all-too-common everyday stresses can find considerable relief, leaving them more likely to enjoy the benefits of laughter.
Prolonged stress not only damages your mental outlook, it can seriously impair your health. There are many well-established methods of lowering your stress levels; you can try yoga exercises or simply any physical exercise that stimulates endorphins, which are the body’s natural painkillers and ‘feel-good’ triggers.

There is a strong argument that happiness can be gained through the power of visualisation. If you have a strong power to visualise images then it is possible you will be able to evoke positive feelings in yourself.
A common criticism of this attempt at reaching happiness is that it is simply fantasising and is a type of self-indulgence that doesn’t actually bring any real happiness about. People often ask how the simple visualisation of positive things can actually make us happy, here we are going to look at why this might very well be possible.
The imagination is extraordinarily powerful in most people and it is capable of recreating a real event in our minds eye. We have a natural ability to recall events that have gone in the past and we can remember many things associated with these, including smells, feelings, and of course, sights.
A classic example of how people can achieve happiness from memory is by recalling a lost friend or partner. For someone who has lost their partner, they can think back to all the happy memories that they shared, and this will stimulate happiness in their mind. There is a great deal of scientific evidence that shows that even if we are remembering happy thoughts, we become happy in reality.
Amazingly, there is even scientific evidence that shows that by watching physical activity, muscle tone can improve. This is typically true for people who’ve ceased exercising because they have become older. This sort of experiment shows exactly what sort of power the mind has over the body, and it is not a great stretch to think that if the mind can improve the muscles, that it can also improve our happiness.
It is important however to remember that happy memories are not the only types we have. By going over sad memories, again and again, we are forcing our minds to relive these traumatic times. This can have a poor effect on mental health and make us unhappy. Therefore, for maximum happiness, you should avoid dwelling on sad memories as much as possible.
The idea that contemplating happy memories makes us happy, or thinking about sad memories makes a sad, is not really surprising. What will surprise you though is how beneficial thinking about happy memories can be. They trigger very similar hormones and chemicals that were released when you experienced the event itself.
It is also important to embrace these happy memories and expand upon them. Do some research into people who have experienced happiness in a similar way; the internet is the perfect place to do this. Find people who are interested in the same thing and start talking to them about it, forums and social networks are obviously key places to do this. Happiness is something that can be shared and achieved just by recalling happy moments from our past. We should all be encouraged to relive our happiest memories, and we should encourage others to do this as well.

101 Relationship Myths and how to avoid them
This humorous and straight talking guide challenges many of the most common delusions that exist regarding love and takes an up close and personal look at the sanity that is modern relationships.
’101 Relationship Myths’, Findhorn Press £9.99, uses simple techniques of myth-busting to help the reader to avoid misguided ideas and self awareness. An extract is available to read at http://bit.ly/101relatemyths
Chapters include:
• Stay Far Away from Women in Their 30s
• Your Partner Isn’t a Mind Reader
• Can a Relationship Only Work if You Compromise?
• Does Strong Sexual Attraction Mean You’re a Good Match?
• Is It Better to Be in a Relationship Than to Be Single?
Guaranteed to provide greater clarity and contentment between any two people, this book provides provocative—and much-needed—social commentary in a humorous fashion.
Examples of some of the collective myths which Ray investigates are:
My happiness is dependent on my partner.
If you love me, you’ll do what I want.
If I try hard enough, my partner will sooner or later change.
I’m more selfish than my partner if I don’t do what my partner wants.
I know what is best for my partner.
A relationship can only work if you compromise.
A relationship is only a success if it lasts until death do us part.
I need a partner to be happy.
It’s better to be in a relationship than to be single.
I can only experience the love that I seek with one special person.
Strong sexual attraction means we’re a good match.
Men and women are different.
In this entertaining and thought-provoking book, Ray presents a revolutionary new way of looking at our relationships and why they can be so problematic – and then he goes on to offer some refreshing, new advice as to what we can do about it.
Ray’s premise is that most of us believe in a wide range of myths about men and women, love and relationships that we’ve never questioned. And it’s our unquestioned belief in these myths that confuses us and makes us unhappy in our relationships. To help readers understand the power of myths in our lives, he identifies some of our most common “relationship myths”. And then he shows us how we can free ourselves from them. The result is much greater clarity, joy and love in our relationships.

Fitting back into an old pair of jeans is as good as winning the lottery for women
Research that is part of the ‘Small Steps’ campaign run by SPLENDA® has revealed that over 25% of women would be as happy with fitting back into a pair of old jeans as they would be if they won the lottery.
Another surprising result that came in is that 29% of women would be happier by slipping into their old jeans than spending a romantic evening with their partner, 19%.
Most women keep an old pair of jeans in their wardrobes that they are determined to get back into, and 94% are making the resolution to get fit and healthy, although over 50% break their resolutions within the first week.
What it also revealed is that over one third of women are deceiving their family and friends when it comes to their eating habits and are telling white lies. The most popular lie, which is told by 49% of women is that they haven’t eaten anything between their meals when in fact they have been munching on a snack suck as chocolate.
As well as being in second place to fitting into jeans in the happiness stakes, husbands and partners are also the ones that women are most likely to lie to. More women would lie to their partner (35%) than their friends (29%) about their diet and fitness habits with the most common reason being that they are embarrassed (54%) followed by feelings of insecurity (20%).
We all know that keeping healthy resolutions is tough, but the research revealed that a fifth (22%) of women would find it easier to achieve goals by making them more manageable and breaking them down into small steps. And with 80% of women citing a lack of willpower as the reason for breaking healthy resolutions, it seems the women of the UK need help.
This spring, SPLENDA® is launching the ‘Small Steps’ campaign and with the help of an expert panel, will be giving women tips on how to keep going on those tricky resolutions. Style guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones, celebrity fitness expert Jane Wake, life coach Liz Wilde and SPLENDA® nutritionist Kiran Goraya will be working together to help women take a series of small steps that can add up to make a big difference.
Style guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones says; “Every woman has a pair of old jeans that they haven’t been able to fit into for years, but that they keep in the hope of squeezing back into them one day. That feeling may seem as good as winning the lottery, but my advice is for women to take the plunge and bin those old jeans! If that slim day does ever come, women should celebrate properly by splashing out on a whole new outfit, not by wearing unfashionable old jeans.”
Another small step that women can take this year is to make the switch from sugar to SPLENDA® – the sugar alternative with a great sugar like taste but a fraction of the calories, thanks to its original ingredient, sucralose. Available in both a Sweet Minis and Granulated format, SPLENDA® is great for use in hot drinks, but also for baking sweet desserts, but without all of the calories of sugar.
To learn more about SPLENDA® and its ‘Small Steps’ campaign or for the chance to win a personal style consultation with Nicky, a healthy eating plan with Kiran, or a personal fitness programme with Jane, please visit www.facebook.com/splendaUK or www.splenda.co.uk.

One part of marriage that is often completely forgotten is how important it is to focus on making your other half feel special.
After years of being married, two people can become used to each other’s company and forget that they need to remind the other person how special they are to them.
When you first started your relationship with your partner, things would have been different, you would have flirted much more and your excitement when you saw them would have been greater. If you bring back some of these behaviours and feelings you are sure to enjoy a much happier marriage.
Flirting is something that we all begin to forget once we have been in a committed relationship for some time. However, it can be a wonderful way to bring a spark back to your relationship and so it could be worth practising your skills in this area.
Seeing your partner happy is a very positive experience and so make sure that you have a good time together. Do activities together, by yourselves, or with other people that you enjoy, this will bring a great deal of happiness to both parties.
It is also important to remember that you should show you are grateful. You don’t have to do this through some grand gesture though, and sometimes just a smile is enough to let your partner know that you appreciate everything they do for you.
You should also focus on listening to what your partner has to say. If they are talking to you, stop whatever you are doing and listen to them, if you are multitasking they will feel as if you’re not paying attention. You should maintain eye contact as this shows you care about what they are saying.
If there is no variety in a relationship then it can become boring and stale so try doing activities that are out of the ordinary with your partner. Plan a trip away without them knowing, or just do something nice in the home that they would not expect. This brings about variety which is something that’s important in every relationship.

Enjoy sunshine every day by wearing yellow
Karen Haller is on of the leading authorities in the UK on applied colour psychology, and she says that wearing a touch of yellow can be a great way to lift our spirits in these gloomy times.
She particularly mentioned a striped shirt designed for Henry Arlington, the luxury clothing and accessories brand for men, which has come from the Jubilee collection off fabrics from Ringhart, as one definite to banish those economic blues.
Haller explains that although the current favoured look of a crisp, white shirt with a darker suit does look very smart, it doesn’t make the wearer happy. She says that our spirits soar when we see the sun, so a great way of injecting some optimism into our souls is by wearing a touch of yellow.
She added that in the 1940′s, when times were tough, they only had conservative colours available such as grey, black and navy, which were in keeping with the sombre mood at that time. Now we have a vast choice of colours, and we should be using them to highlight positive aspects of our lives instead of dwelling on the negative ones.
Combine yellow with blue as in these stripes and the wearer will not only look and feel happy, he will also be seen as a good communicator, intellectual, trustworthy, calm and logical.
“Every time you select a colour to wear you are making a statement of how you are feeling and how you want others to interact with you,” adds Haller, “so make sure your wardrobe is full of colour for every mood.”
Henry Arlington’s collection features colourful stripes and florals, including Liberty prints, selected from Ringhart’s range of 100% superfine cotton shirtings, which will be shown at Textile Forum, the fashion fabric trade exhibition in London next week (7-8 March 2012) www.textileforum.co.uk.
